Tail Bridge is a precision oriented system. We have provided two sets of anti-blow back tab guards to allow for any variance in fit between the bridge plate and blow back tabs during installation.
EASY TO INSTALL
Carefully review our installation video above and follow instructions below.
Thoroughly clean the installation area and let dry. With the tailgate closed, place the bridge (posts down) approximately 1” off the edge of the truck bed, and the top of the bridge resting against the tailgate.

Place each hinge respectively (L/R) over the top of each bridge post and flush into the bed post.

You may need to adjust the hinges toward the tailgate, or back towards the cab until the bridge rests against the blow-back tabs and snug against the tailgate. The hinge must sit level on the truck bed.

Peel the 3M backing from the driver-side hinge and press firmly in place over the bridge post. Repeat this process with the passenger-side hinge.
Slowly lower the tailgate to ensure proper alignment. Hold the hinge in place and drill 3/16” hole in the cab-side port. Using a 3/16" screw (provided) snugly secure cab-side screw. Repeat this process with the passenger-side hinge.

Make sure each hinge is still against the bed post and drill 3/16" hole in the gate-side ports and secure tightly using 3/16" screws. (Provided) Now tighten cab-side screws.

(Hand tighten to avoid stripping)

With the tailgate in the down position, slightly prop up the bridge. Peel 3M backing from glide plates and place 1/4” inside the edge of the bridge and 1/8” above the bridge on each side. Press firmly in place. Slide rubber caps on blow-back tabs.

We have provided two sets of anti-blow back tab guards to allow for any minimal variance in fit between the bridge plate and blow back tabs during installation.

Install Tips
The hinge must be parallel with the truck bed post. Any variance will render the system inoperable.

It's a good idea to mark the hinge placement prior to final install to ensure proper placement.

It's a good idea to mark the top corner and down the side of the bridge for glide plate placement.
